For my last project at JVST I got the chance to work on the Kenneth Cole brand. We recently released the website for Look Good, For Good. campaign.
This website has been develop with wordpress using all the power of Advanced Custom Field. I also use a very useful grunt task for wordpress developer named Grunt WordPress Deploy, that i recommend to anyone developing custom themes for wordpress.
A personal project I had in mind for a while. I found the time to develop it last year. This project use NodeJS and Socket I/O and allow users to create youtube playlist and watch the video with their friends in real time.
Here is a list of the different tools I used to develop this project:
This was the biggest project for 2013. Academy of Art had a desperate need of a new website. We looked at what other university had out there and create a design that goes beyond everything the industry ever made.
I managed a small team of three developper and we had the role of developing the frontend of the site. The backend use CQ5 and was developed by our friends at 42lines. The challenge was to develop a frontend code that can be easily used by the backend developer. We decided to develop an interactive style guide where the backend dev can grab our css and js and easily copy and paste the HTML structure.
Capcom is one of the premiere gaming publishers on earth, and they asked for our help for the upcoming 25th Anniversary of the Street Fighter franchise.
We’ve worked with Capcom on a number of different initiatives throughout the years, and we jumped on the chance to do something fun and cool to celebrate one of the most iconic brands in the world.
The pitch was simple. We grew up on Street Fighter – it helped us bond with friends, make new frenemies and lose a combined $73,985.75 in quarters over the years. We are all a part of Street Fighter, and Street Fighter has become part of our lives. The brand has touched the lives of its fans in a myriad of ways, so we wanted to create a site for our fans to share their experiences and make new friends for the next 25 years of Street Fighter.
This site was build on top of wordpress, A lot of plugins has been custom develop for this project. JQuery was use for the frontend of the site.
Play as Pancho the Dragon and fly around the forest collecting food for your three hungry dragon babies. Keep them fed long enough and they’ll start helping you collect food! Get flying – babies get super hungry super fast!
Collect birds, bunnies and turtles from across the sweeping forest landscape to deliver to your precious babies!
You spit hot fire! Keep those goshdarn vultures from stealing your catch by frying them with your fireball but be careful – you need time to recharge between each sizzling burn balls.
Keep your babies fed long enough, and they’ll join you on the hunt! Your offspring will fly around wherever you go helping you catch more prey to feed to the other babies – but watch out for the vultures!
Challenge your friends to see who can keep your babies fed the longest! Share your scores on Facebook and compete to have the best score!
Skyfeeder was build in Objective C, using the Cocos2d Framework for the game engine and the Box2d Framework for the Physic Engine.
Client: “We need something awesome for Lost Planet 2. What can you blow up?”
JVST: “On a scale of 1-10, how awesome?”
Client: “Eleventy seven.”
JVST: “Game on.”
Capcom USA and Capcom Japan was skeptical, but gave us a shot. In partnership with GameTrailers.com we created the world’s first interactive trailer. By breaking the frame, shaking your browser and forcing the user to help ward off the zombies using our website shooting mechanic — we created a truly unique experience that’s been called “the future of game advertising.”
I work very closely with the engineer at Gametrailer, they kindly gave us full access to the page that allow us to do whatever we wanted. I work with a 3d artist that was giving me rough video of zombies. After a lot of filters and tricks in After Effects, the video were ready to be loaded into my flash container. ESRB made us tint the blood in black at the last minute.
Our friends at Pokemon needed our help to create a website for the last version of the Pokedex 3d Pro game. The objective of this site was to create a semi 3d environment on the site. Not an Easy task when you have to support ie7.
I developed a custom front end frameworks based on JQuery that use a parallax systems to do the trick. Like all the Pokemon site this site support 12 differents Languages, which doesn’t make the task easier.
After multiple successful small projects for Pokemon, I got the chance to work on the Pokemon Black and White 2 Website back in 2012. Pokemon came to us and let us free range of creativity for the project. Creative and Developers came up with a double parallax site that will confront the Black side to the White side.
Here is a list of the different features of the site:
I’m getting married soon, and it will be in France, So I made a simple website to explain to my fellow american friends and future family member how to get there. I also made a french version of the site: www.josephineetthibaut.com
This website has been developed with assemble.io.
“The hardest murdered to solve is your own” this dark beautiful new game from square enix needed a website. I developed a wordpress theme for them. You can turn the dusk mode on if you dare.
This site was developed with wordpress, I developed a custom plugin and use JQuery and SASS and grunt for the automation.
I had two weeks to develop this angular driven site for pokemon XY trading card game.
